An exciting full time opportunity has arisen for a Digital Account Manager to join our lovely Wholegrain team. Established in 2007, we are London’s original WordPress agency and have an enviable list of clients. You will be directly reporting to the company directors and take responsibility for managing client relationships, improving client satisfaction and growing revenues and profitability for the company. You will also be involved in helping us to improve our positive social and environmental impact as a Certified B Corporation. As a successful candidate, you must have digital client account management experience within a web designing environment and a true passion for WordPress.

The role is a semi-remote position in which you will split your time between working from home, our office near Piccadilly in London and meeting clients at their offices in and around London.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

  • Handling in-bound leads to nurture positive new client relationships

  • Work with other team members to prepare quotes and proposals for new work

  • You will support business development activities from meeting setting and attendance through to writing the solution and proposals and delivering pitches

  • Proactively develop existing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction, troubleshooting any issues and growing accounts

  • Oversee the team to ensure that they are delivering on client expectations.

  • Motivate team to constantly strive for higher quality standards

  • Developing trust and respect both internally with colleagues and externally

  • Monitor profitability of projects and client relationships

  • Help team to understand client expectations and facilitate continuous improvement in service offering.

  • Having a full understanding of the client's’ brand, business, customers and market

  • You will be an excellent communicator with a proactive approach and the confidence and enthusiasm to take ownership of processes and collaborative management of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure project teams are fully briefed on client's business, objectives and deliverables

  • Someone who can build trust and forge strong working relationships with big brand organisations

  • Any other administrative duties that may arise from being a part of a busy team

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Be a really really nice person

  • The successful candidate will be an outgoing dynamic individual with 3 Years’ experience in Management / Business Development role within client services

  • Experience in engaging with clients to formulate and deliver enterprise-level digital programmes of work

  • You will have a high level of organisation and the ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines whilst maintaining an extremely high level of attention to detail.

  • Highly organised and proactive

  • Possess natural leadership qualities

  • You have excellent communication and written skills. You know how to articulate your own ideas, and be responsible and reliable.

  • An ability to articulate both design and technical viewpoints to clients

  • You will have a solid understanding of web design and development processes, technologies and limitations including; UX, scoping, project management, development, SEO, WordPress CMS, PHP, agile.

  • You must be able to work independently using your own initiative.

  • Persuasive with excellent negotiation skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, competitive and dynamic environment
